As of today there are exactly seven months remaining until National Signing Day 2020. What the class will look like on that day, no one knows for sure. We can however draw some conclusions as to what it would look like if today were Signing Day.

Here's my mock class. Mine is based off of who I think they'll get in the end, not necessarily who they lead for right now.

QB: Anthony Richardson
RB: EJ Smith, Lawrance Toafili
WR: Jaquavion Fraziars, Leonard Manuel, Xzavier Henderson, Arian Smith
TE: Jonathan Odom
OL: Gerald Mincey, Jovens Janvier, Richard Leonard, Marcus Dumervil
DT: Johnnie Brown, Gervon Dexter, Tim Smith, Lamar Goods
DE: Antwaun Powell, Zykeivous Walker
LB: Derek Wingo
S: Rashad Torrence II, Tre'Vez Johnson
CB: Avery Helm, Jahari Rogers, Fenley Graham, Henry Gray

Using the 247Sports Class Calculator, this class would've ranked No. 6 last year.

Is there a reason you think that Smith opts for going w UF when everyone says Stanford?

To be honest, not really. I think UF will definitely sign at least one running back and probably two. It's just a matter of who at this point. I feel like he and Toafili are most likely. If Stanford struggles to run the ball again this year, Florida could become the favorite for him.

In all honesty, if you're able to, and seriously considering going to Stanford, their ability or inability to run the ball probably has very little to do with it.

I know, but it's not like UF is a giant step below Stanford academically. As it gets closer to NSD and Florida still doesn't have a running back in the class, he might start to feel the pressure to follow in his dad's footsteps.

If that was our class I would be happy with quarterback, receiver and defensive line.

everything else is a fail.

Getting an elite offensive tackle in Dumervil and some good guards makes the O-Line a failure? What about getting a likely top-100 linebacker in Wingo?

We're getting Dumervil? I want some if what you're drinking

We're speaking hypothetically here. Florida does seem to be the trendy pick of late for Dumervil.

I hope this isn't the case but I would be stunned if we got either one of Toafili or Smith.

I think Toafili is the most likely running back to join the class. The biggest competition appears to be FSU and Auburn. FSU can't recruit anybody, and Auburn very well might have a new coach after this season.

Hypothetically...if not Toafili, then who do we take as a RB because Smith is going to Stanford.

I have no idea. They'd still have Sam Adams and Don Chaney on the board (granted Chaney is low percentage). I wouldn't completely give up on Demarkcus Bowman yet. Get Arian Smith on board to go with Fenley Graham, and another Lakeland sweep could be possible. They'll get someone; it's just a matter of who and how highly ranked he is.

Agree or disagree: A Bowman flip, however unlikely, would be the biggest recruiting coup for UF football since _______ insert something here about Leak flipping to the Gators over UT, Tebow not signing with Bama, or the Pounceys getting pissed that Bowden didn't remember their names...

It's a reverse Spiller :-)

Franks flipping from LSU seemed huge at the time (and it still might be). Dante Fowler from FSU was a big one as well.

Forgot about Franks there. Absolutely huge.

I didn't expect it to happen today, but I figured something was going on with Joseph.

You got it right on Richie Leonard and Morven Joseph
If you are right on Henderson and Walker I'll buy you a drink before the Miami game.

If those guys come, it likely won't be announced before the Miami game.

Ask a Fortune 500 recruiter if UF is a big step behind Stanford when it comes to comparing any degree in a business field.

I should have went with my initial feeling and took Smith off of the mock.
