The Pick to Pick Path of John Huggins

John Huggins freshman year began better than he could’ve dreamed.

An interception that set the Florida Gators up for a final touchdown in the 2018 season opener against Charleston Southern was a moment that Huggins thought was the start of something new.

Instead he received a reality check as the young defensive back saw his time tick away to veteran guys. He played in eight games, primarily on special teams, and finished the season with three tackles along with the interception. But he also received a lesson in college football.

I noticed Huggins yesterday at the game. Good looking prospect. Great to see Florida building the bench with this kind of talent.

Thanks Mrs. Sharleen! I can't help but watch him whenever he's on the field!
