The difference was night and day. That’s the change Florida Gators strength and conditioning coach Nick Savage saw in the team’s offseason workouts from 2018 (the staff’s first year) and 2019.

“Night and day. It was still hard and a grind and all that. It’s just like real life,” explained Savage.

“I mean, nothing’s handed out in the real world so if we want something as a group and goals as a football team we’re gonna work for it and we’re gonna earn it.

The players helping players (new guys) is good to see. I think you mentioned the Heggie helping White, but also saw a report about Wilson helping Steele...or at least showing him the ropes on a specific drill.

I also like how Grey used Henderson and Wilson to start the drills off, when the rest of the guys then doing what they did...puts them in a leadership role...nice touch!

You took the words out of my mouth... offensive line was my concerns but now that I look at it as the old guys are helping the new guys. It puts less stress and emphasis on the coaches having to reteach everything.
