While not even being in the race for Evan Neal - a franchise type of offensive tackle was somewhat disappointing, and then leading for and then not being a finalist for defensive lineman Charles Moore - despite the huge need at the position - were rough, nothing compares to Florida missing out on five-star running back Trey Sanders. Florida did everything in its power, including showing marked improvement on offense, and taking his brother as a walk-on linebacker, but the Gators couldn't seal the deal. While Mullen and staff have done an admirable job thus far, it is landing difference makers such as Sanders that is still a glaring omission from these first two classes.
FYI - my understanding is that Moore also signed with a JUCO, so there might be some academic issues there an made Florida a non-starter...

I'm excited about what I've read about Zipperer. Help me better understand his style - he seems to be an athletic TE that is more of a playmaker with the ball in his hands rather than a "blocking TE". For the lack of a better comparison, would you say that he is comparable to, and will be used in a similar capacity as Aaron Hernandez?

I wonder what Trey Sanders is thinking right now that Bama's RB coach got poached to the Philadelphia Eagles staff.

I would be surprised if anyone committed to Alabama who didn't expect their position coach and/or coordinator to move on....Bama will reload as they do ever year at the coaching position and guys will still get into the NFL....

...the good thing about being Bama (right now) is that they can pretty much get whatever position coach they want.....
