Just days after Florida hosted them both on campus for a Jr. Day, two in-state quarterbacks are back on the market.

On Monday evening Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star quarterback Carson Beck‍ announced on a local radio show that he was decomitting from Alabama.

Then, most likely in reaction to that event, Gainesville (Fla.) Eastside three-star quarterback Anthony Richardson‍ announced via Twitter that he was decommitting from Florida.

The duo were the two quarterbacks in attendance for Florida’s Jr. Day on Saturday - but appear to be going in different directions.

While Richardson is thought to be more of a dual-threat quarterback, who is more dangerous with his legs, Beck is the reigning Mr. Football in the Sunshine State, coming off of one of the most prolific passing seasons in Florida prep history.

Beck, who was at one time committed to Florida for baseball, is expected to make a pledge sometime this spring or early summer with the Gators without question in the driver’s seat.
