During the beginning weeks of the off-season, Inside the Gators will take an in-depth look at how last season went for Florida's 2018 signees who redshirted with our Redshirt Report series. Today, we focus on how this past season went for defensive lineman Malik Langham.

The SEC is a dog-eat-dog world so as Florida Gators freshman Malik Langham heads into the offseason after redshirting his first year, his high school head coach—Tony Woods—is hoping the defensive lineman finds that mean streak needed to play in the sports toughest league.

Would love to see Langham become a great player. When he made his commitment to UF I loved how well spoken he was along with his appearance and that big smile he flashed. I'm surprised to hear that he is so reserved. Hopefully he gets comfortable in his surroundings and the coaching staff and teammates can get him to reach the great potential that it seems he could reach on the field with the right mindset.

Hope Malik stays healthy, works hard and becomes an All-American as a Gator as he has the smarts and size and appears he just needs the attitude. We are with you Malik!

From the article:

He played in only two games (Charleston Southern and Idaho) recording one tackle in the first game.

At the Peach Bowl I was surprised how thick he was...I had him pictured as a tall and sort of skinny. Not so at all, he looked almost DT size.
