Four-star Braun flips to Florida
When Sam Pittman left Georgia for Arkansas, it of course was going to create at least a ripple effect, if not in this case a tsunami, as Live Oak (Fla.) Suwannee four-star offensive lineman Joshua Braun is back on the market and Florida is in hot pursuit.

Florida making a run at four-star offensive lineman
Of course when the news broke that Offensive line coach Sam Pittman was leaving Georgia to take the Arkansas job the first messages I made were to top former four-star target Joshua Braun and his father.Florida coach John Hevesy visited on Monday, but Joshua said that he wanted to keep everything under the radar. This afternoon though the news came out that he decommitted from Georgia. When I asked him this afternoon for comment, he replied:'You can say that I have taken a step back and am reassessing my commitment, I will be commenting more on Friday.'

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Inside the Gators rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Inside the Gators Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Inside the Gators readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
