Miami four-star commit has return visit to Florida already set

Back in mid-April, after seeing him at the UC Report Combine in Orlando, Inside the Gators singled out Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot cornerback @Chris Gr">Chris Graves‍ as a prospect the Gator Nation needed to keep an eye on.

A month later Florida extended an offer.

Less than two months later he committed to Miami over Florida, LSU, and South Carolina.

It appeared that was the end of it until Graves decided to unofficially visit the Gators when they took on Vanderbilt last month.

Now, he has a return visit set.

"I didn’t get to talk to the coaches at the game because I arrived late," said Graves of his October visit to Gainesville. "But, I plan on being at the Florida State game [in two weeks]."

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is still considering the Gators thanks in large part to one assistant in particular.

"Coach Jules [Montinar] wants me bad," said Graves. "He hits me up probably every day. He says he needs me and wants me to become a Gator."

Graves, who has already taken official visits to Miami, LSU, and South Carolina, is still unsure of where he will take his final two allotted official visits, but Florida is under consideration to receive one of them.

"I've got a couple of schools in contact about the officials," said Graves. "I’m not sure yet, I'm still figuring things out."

Graves is the No. 216 rated prospect in the nation according to the 247 Sports Composite.

The Inside Scoop: Graves didn't want to go into detail about the programs still in contact and with the news of the Miami AD being fired today, he didn't want to talk about Manny Diaz's hot seat. Florida will get him back on campus in two weeks and then will have a chance to get him back on campus after that for an official visit.
