Wesley Bissainthe

The Skinny: Florida has been a school he has mentioned as one of his options for a while now, but the Gators are playing catch-up to in-state schools Miami and Florida State. He visited the Gators back in July for Friday Night Lights, though he didn’t participate and spent most of his visit with Player Personnel Assistant John Herron, both Christian Robinson and Brandon Spikes (who worked the came with several other former players) spoke with him. The bad news for Florida is getting him in for such a low-profile opponent like Vanderbilt will hurt with how poor the atmosphere will be compared to the Alabama or Tennessee game. The good news is, even at its worst, it will at least be on par with a Miami or Florida State home game this cycle.

Quency Wiggins‍

Defensive End""

The Skinny: It is difficult to get a genuine feel on where he stands when it’s October and this is his first official visit. He did unofficially visit UF back in the summer and told Inside the Gators earlier this week that he has a top-five and knows of at least two other official visits. Obviously, being from Baton Rouge, you have to like LSU's chances. He'll have an opportunity to see the Gators in back-to-back weekends if he visits for the game in Death Valley next weekend.

Florida three-star defensive end commit Francois Nolton Jr.‍ is expected to see Florida for the first time this season on Saturday. Coming up as well is his Miami (Fla.) Edison teammate and Clemson commit, 2023 four-star wideout Nathaniel Joseph‍.

Also, fellow teammates, 2024 running back Gerald Modest, who has early offers from Florida State and Miami as well as 2024 defensive end Dinellson Exume, who has a UF offer already, 2022 massive offensive lineman Jeffrey Bonica, and 2022 three-star linebacker Leon Hart, will be there as well.

Two other Class of 2022 commits expected are four-star wide-out CJ Smith‍ and three-star cornerback Jamarrien Burt‍.

Class of 2023 three-star receiver commit Darren Lawrence‍ will also be at the game.

Uncommitted Class of 2022

The position with the biggest numbers is the offensive line.

Inside the Gators updated St. Augustine (Fla.) Creekside offensive lineman Matthew McCoy‍ earlier this week. He expects to receive an offer this weekend.

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star offensive lineman Aliou Bah‍ at first planned to take his official visit to Florida this weekend. Instead, Inside the Gators was told he will visit unofficially along with Ascenders linemate, Class of 2023 five-star Francis Mauigoa‍.

We’ve touched on the background of Clearwater (Fla.) ACA 2022 offensive lineman Ramier Lewis several times since he was a standout at the Elite Camp back at the end of June. The 6-foot-7, 360-pounder has already visited this season and will be back again on Saturday.

Another under-the-radar lineman Florida is looking at is Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough’s Noah Miles. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder is a potential walk-on candidate.

Two 2023 offensive line targets who camped at UF over the summer, Miles McVay‍ and Tommy Kinsler, will be back to watch the game on Saturday

Two prospects who Florida looked to have fallen off with, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard four-star defensive end Nyjalik Kelly‍ and Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star cornerback Chris Graves‍ will be in town.

Class of 2023 Visitors

Richmond (Tx.) Foster 2023 quarterback JT Fayard, who has received early interest from Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas A&M, will be at the game.

To this point Ocean Springs (Ms.) 2023 athlete Brayson Hubbard has mostly been known as a baseball prospect. However, after moving from defensive back to quarterback, he is starting to get some traction from college football coaches.

After visiting Florida for the Alabama game, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage 2023 four-star running back Mark Fletcher is set to make a return trip to Gainesville this weekend.

Quincy (Fla.) Munroe Day 2023 wideout Ahmari Borden already has offers from the likes of Florida State and Georgia. He will be seeing UF for the first time this season.

A name to start to keep an eye on is Lake Butler (Fla.) Union County 2023 offensive lineman Mikah Wilson. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder is beginning to see some traction on the recruiting front. He has a teammate, 2022 linebacker Curran Webb, who is a walk-on prospect for the Gators, and will be in town too.

Apopka (Fla.) defensive end Kaven Call, visited UF over the summer, and will be back on Saturday. He has grown a couple of inches over the last year and is really starting to fill out his frame. Programs such as Georgia, Auburn and Florida State are all over him, especially the Dogs, but he hasn't been offered yet by the Gators, the team he will tell you he grew up following. I would expect that to change soon.

Roswell (Ga.) four-star cornerback Ethan Nation‍, who is closing in on 50 offers already, is planning on being in town.

Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett linebacker/defensive end Tyler Walton already goes 6-foot-5, 235-pounds, but hasn't gotten a ton of early attention. That should start to change.

2023 wideout, Gainesville (Fla.) P.K. Yonge's Jaren Hamilton will be at his third game of the season.

Covington (Ga.) Newton 6-foot-4, 330-pound offensive guard Sean Thompkins is beginning to see more attention from college coaches and will be at the game.

Some Others

2024 Blountstown (Fla.) four-star safety Jordan Pride was a standout at Florida's June 25th Elite Camp, but committed to Florida State not long afterward. He will be at the game on Saturday.

Though he was a bit undersized, Class of 2024 Apopka (Fla.) Wekiva defensive lineman Sincere Edwards absolutely dominated at the UC Report Combine back in the spring. He has picked up some new offers and will be making his first game of the season.

Loganville (Ga.) Grayson 2024 four-star athlete Joseph Stone hasn't been offered by UF yet, but has a couple of other early offers.

Another Peach State star from the Class of 2024 due in is Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy safety CJ Heard.

His time is still a long ways off, but 2025 Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot quarterback Carter Smith will be a prospect to keep an eye on, and he will see UF on Saturday.

Another 2025 name to know is that of Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola athlete Taevion Swint, who we mentioned in the Tennessee Visitor Preview.
