Two highly rated 2024 prospects visiting in October

When I first asked 2024 four-star defensive end Elijah Rushing about visiting Florida in early September, he told me that the plan was to come in for the LSU game. However, the No. 22 ranked prospect in the nation according to the On3 Consensus said he has switched it to this weekend.

According to Rushing, since it is his high school team’s bye weekend combined with UF playing an early game (kickoff time at noon), he and his family felt like they could arrive on Friday and this was their best chance to spend as much time as possible in Gainesville.

I asked him about the timeline for a leaderboard, and he responded that he will release a top 10 at the end of his football season.

One top-rated 2024 target who will be in town for the LSU game is four-star defensive end KingJoseph Edwards, the No. 36 rated prospect in his class according to the On3 Consensus.

He just happened to be in Knoxville on Saturday for the UF-TN game (his reaction is on the front page) and told me that he will see the Gators again in two weeks.

Mr. Rushing just told me that they won’t be in this weekend due to the hurricane.

We probably won’t have a lot of great recruits these next 2 games.

I hope the the staff is loading up for LSU.
