I was just informed that four-star linebacker Malik Bryant has decided not to make his announcement today.

He is still trying to decide where he wants to go and it’s better to be sure than to make a decision based on some arbitrary deadline.

Is his waiting considered good news for us? He was going to Miami and we got him to hold off?

He was going to commit to us so that means UM got to him and it made him wait.

We needed this one.

A week ago I was told it was 50/50 between UF and MIA, but no matter what, it will all come down to what Alabama does.

Then, I was told he was leaning toward the Canes, but it was still a tossup, then I was told he was leaning to UF over the last two days, and I was actually going to drive down to cover it, but when I checked in today before making the drive, I was told he is still torn between the two and won’t make the decision today.

The fact that UF was trending late with him, I would take it as a positive.

There is no negative to him holding off. And again, no matter what he would have said today, it almost certainly wouldn’t have been the end of it.
