When players get NIL deals do they sign contracts?

If this gets around this is going to give USC a bad name.

I’m guessing there will be more of this.

It will only benefit the schools that are honest. Seems to be right up our alley!

Although we may fall short on a few recruits I’m rather proud of Napier for not getting into bidding wars for some of these ego driven guys. I will also state it may not all be his choice if it’s a case of him not having the $$ to do so but that’s not on him by any means. College footballs is a mess and at a crucial crossroad. Unfortunately at this time money talks and talk walks.

I don’t feel sorry for a player one bit. If they get screwed because they screwed their former team by transferring to gain something. Life learning lesson plus tis kid was going to be paid professionally .

This is going to be interesting to follow on the NIL front. Will every player get what’s promised to them?

I have nothing against Jaden Rashada, I think he is a nice young man, or the Tennessee five-star commit (I’ve never spoken with him one way or the other), but I’d like to see them fall on their faces just so we can see what happens NIL wise.

In pro sports, which is what the NCAA is becoming, if a player doesn’t live up to his contract, he gets cut. That isn’t supposed to happen in college sports though.

Is that Vol kid going to get his full 6-8 million if he is a bust? These NIL deals aren’t supposed to be based on participation or production. If they are terrible, does the big money booster or collective still pay out the full amount?

No doubt there will be more. I also heard that some of the agents involved are taking 30% or more of their client’s bag. Should’ve known there would be crooks involved, particularly when it comes to money.
