Forum OwnerTo me, this is what NIL should be. Each player making 3K a month, and if there’s an opportunity for side endorsements, great!
Not where we have boosters enticing high school players or transfers with the promise of big bucks.
BREAKING: #SMU's new Boulevard Collective will quickly become one of the biggest players in the NIL space.
The collective is set to pay players on the football and basketball teams $36K a year, sources tell On3.

ITG Subscriber85 football scholarships= $3.1 million. 13 basketball scholarships= $468,000 (pretty inexpensive) Such a system would definitely help level the playing field for all schools. We might see players actually choose schools they truly like rather than sign with the highest bidder. I really think this would hep the Gators but with caveats. I’m not naive and fully realize the TA&M’s, Bama’s, UGA’s and Ohio St’s would pass money under the table but at least if they’re caught they could be penalized. A pipe dream I know.

ITG SubscriberEvery player should have a minimum like this and let the stars cut deals for a few hundred thousand or a car or things like that.
