Napier on the current state of college football and the NIL: “I mean, we’re talking about a completely different dynamic. We’re playing a game that’s never been played before.”
Says that O-line recruiting is an area where he thinks they did their best work. Specifically mentions Damieon George, Kiyaunta Goodwin, Micah Mazzccua and Caden Jones — in that order.
On Caden Jones: “We offered Caden when he was in the 10th grade.” Says he made a huge improvement from junior to senior year. Adds that he can “really move and bend.”
“First player I went to see in the contact period.” Says that the familiarity of him being Montrell Johnson’s high school teammate likely played a role in things working ou the way they did.
