On the team’s mentality after nearly beating UGA: “At the end of the day, adversity is an opportunity for growth.”

Missouri DL Ky Montgomery, who tore his ACL in 2021, is slowly coming back and progressing strongly.
WR Chance Luper is believed to be out for the rest of the season.

Drinkwitz said he knows Napier well from past run-ins while assistants and while head coaching in the Sun Belt (Napier at UL, Drinkwitz at App State).
Drinkwitz’s lone season with the Mountaineers ended with a Sun Belt championship win over Napier and UL.
Says there’s a lot of familiarity and he has a ton of respect.
Drinkwitz is done.
