Kugel was one of the last players to arrive on campus. To catch up, he said he worked out 2-3 times a day with a trainer back home.

With that as well as just being athletic, he said the transition from HS to UF conditioning has been pretty good.

On improving his shooting, he said that Taurean Green has helped on the technical side (release point, following through, etc.)

Said he used to just flick it, but TG has helped eliminate that.

Said that a lot of people counted UF out due to the amount of losses but they don’t count how close they are.

On the win, Golden said that plenty of people reached out, but they don’t want that to be the highlight of the season.

As far as resume goes, Golden said that the win will obviously go a long way.
