This A&M flu outbreak sounds significant. I was told by a UF parent that an A&M parent told them that they were quarantining player after player from the team last night. You hate to win that way, but the Gators desperately need to get on track. However, a loss looks even worse.

Things you should never doubt: Adam Mihalek from 50+ yards.

A lot of good on that drive, but the bad outweighed the good. Two false start penalties (on the same lineman nonetheless) hurts. Add the screen pass on third down (*sigh*), again.

Richardson did look good throwing the ball that drive. Nice patience in the pocket

People will see the throw AR made on that play – and a very good throw, it was – however what was so great about it was how it unfolded. Ball was snapped, he looked over at the screen – his first read- and saw it wasn’t there. Looked to the crosser up the middle, wasn’t there. Third read was the left sideline deep route; he saw it open and put it right where it needed to be. Great, great play from AR.

When Richardson is playing like this, meaning willing to run, Florida can play with anyone (even if they are fully healthy). The Gators go up 10-7.

How close are we to being able to say that AR is a guy who’s simply better on the road – a guy who thrives in hostile environments? Maybe it’s that he gets too comfortable at home. Or maybe the pressure of not wanting to let his own fans down. Or maybe he just loves shutting opposing fans up. I’m not sure what it is, but I just see a different AR on the road than I do in The Swamp.

There was a minute to start the drive and Florida wanted to open the drive, on a first and 15, with a run. He might be a hell of a program builder, but Napier is the worst game manager I have seen at Florida, and if that isn’t corrected, it doesn’t matter how the culture changes.

You have all three timeouts, just under a minute to go, your defense can’t stop them, and you choose to take it to the half? Why?

I think he has done a great job in off the field. His playcalling and game management are perplexing to put it nicely. The first play was a blown play, but it looked like a run play. Why? Your kicker has hit his last two from 50-yards, why not try to get in position?

It didn’t work, but that’s still a good decision. The play call on the other hand. Why run the ball there, when he should get AR out on the edge with a R/P option? You still have a 10 point lead and they have to go 90 yards.
