Don’t know if he can be flipped. It has a lot to do with his trainer and his dad. Saw a picture of him and his dad when he was a young boy. They were all decked out in OU gear and from what I’ve seen and read, they’ve always been OU fans. That’s ok. I get it. If he always knew he wanted to go to OU, why take all of the visits to UF and pretend to be a UF lean? He wasted a lot of the staff’s time in which they could have actively been pursuing other options at DL and not been currently behind at recruiting that position. Trolling a school is what it is. It’s time to move on from Leblanc. Like Coach Napier says, “We want players that want to be Gators!”

This is some interesting information, but I also think some harsh criticism of a 17/18 year old kid.
Being a “UF lean” comes from recruiting web sites and not necessarily the recruit himself.
One huge advantage that Florida has over other schools is the proximity to top HS recruits, so Florida will (hopefully) get a lot of in-state recruits to visit.
Maybe Leblanc had (and maybe still has) genuine interest in Florida, so if the school is just down the road, why not visit multiple times? - August 4, 2022 at 9:48 am #18632
