Five-star lineman Francis Mauigoa pledges to Miami.
He had Florida as a finalist, but in reality UF was closer to the bottom of that list than they were to the top.

I think I read that one of the reasons Mauigoa committed to Miami was familiarity with Cristobal who was recruiting him when he was at Oregon.
I am guessing Rashada had a similar relationship with Cristobal.
I’ve said this before, that to me, it seems relationships between coach and recruits are important.
Another two examples of Napier starting off at a disadvantage with other SEC schools and Miami and FSU.
The hope is that Napier starts developing relationships with high school underclassmen now so that he can sign some higher rated recruits in the future.
