Well, I did not expect Toney to leave Florida, because my dream candidate for DC would be hands down the best college DC (IMHO) that apparently is still available – Jim Leonhard.
One of the links from the article note that from 2017-2021 with Leonhard as DC, Wisconsin defense finished 3rd in OPP PPG, 1st in OPP YPG and 3rd in OPP Rush YPG.
If Toney is indeed leaving, with those statistics, Leonhard deserves at least a phone call.

The other advantage of Leonhard is he would fit in nicely with Toney’s duties of DC/Safeties Coach.
He was a former walk-on who became a three-time All-American at safety.
Raymond and Leonhard coaching the DBs would be a nice combination.

He is hiring his buddy to be our 3rd LB coach. Will Bates or Peterson move to S coach?
