Napier opens up by expressing his gratitude for the new football facility.
He said the team came out of the scrimmage healthy.
Napier said that overall he believes they are heading in the right direction.

He said that the first team offense didn’t make their ‘quota’ as far as penalties in the scrimmage.
The offense didn’t do well in the redzone and had some turnovers. (YOU CAN READ OUR SCRIMMAGE REPORT ON THE FRONT PAGE).
They will have a full SEC officiating crew in for the next scrimmage.

Napier said he can’t compliment his staff enough for the big recruiting weekend. He singled out the administration, Gator Made, and the on-campus recruiting staff.
He said they have an incredible product to sell.

To Napier, the biggest advantage of the new facility is efficiency. The time they can save. They go straight from the meeting room to the walk-through, whereas before it was an 18-minute gap in time.

Napier said that if they had to play today, they have eight offensive linemen who would deserve to play. They need to find the 9th and 10th.
The team moved out of the hotel and are living on their own.

Though the new football facility is getting all of the headlines, every bit as important is how the student-athlete living arrangements changed for the (much, much) better on Sunday as the players moved into the Stadium House.
