Napier said game-planning comes down to creating touches for those who deserve it.

On guys who are walking for Senior Day who still have eligibility: Napier said that these are guys who have their degree and view themselves as seniors even though they are redshirts with one-to-two years left.

      On the potential roster turnover:

Napier explained that the goal in any offseason is to fill gaps that may be prevalent depending on depth and player’s experience/skill.

Adds that roster attrition is usually a problem in a coach’s early tenure due to transfers, but it’ll always be something to solve every offseason.

A lot of it is year-to-year and TBD

      Beamer has joined the call.

Beamer on Florida: “You can argue they played their best football the last six quarters.”

On practices: Beamer said that they analyze the players week-to-week with speeds and load to determine performance level. He did admit that practices slow down compared to fall camp, and that they spend a bit more time in walk through time than full speed due to injuries and flu season.

On flu season: Not an outbreak but certainly aren’t strangers to flu season.

On slowing down Anthony Richardson: laughs and says “I don’t know if anyone has.”

Further explains that he can make any throw while adding a tremendous running ability.

Said he watches film and hopes someone makes a big stop on him, but hasn’t seen it just yet

On NIL in college football and at S. Carolina: Said that it’s been a positive for their program, and there’s guys on the team who use NIL to help others.

Example: Players used NIL money last season to take underprivileged kids on a shopping spree before Christmas.

On the SEC: Explains that the East especially is only getting better after years of teams struggling (pointed out coaching changes at historically successful schools like Tennessee) but that the teams are exponentially getting better as the seasons go on.

Kentucky: consistent the last few years.
UGA and UT’s rankings speak for themselves.
      Vandy: Get’s better week-by-week.
Florida is getting better under Napier.
Adds SC is in the same boat

      That concludes Beamer’s portion.
