Napier said that they have to evaluate the film objectively and independent of the result. Meaning, they did a lot of good things on Saturday, but he says there are glaring improvement that need to be made.

On putting a product on the field that helps recruiting: Said having an atmosphere like the Swamp, the infrastructure of the program and being a top-five university in a classic college town gives them an advantage that they want to capitalize on.
On Desmond Watson: “Des is a work in progress.” Said he is making commitments on eliminating some habits and is slowly stepping up. Napier said he needs to continue doing that as he’s a unique player who is critical to the defense.

On Napier keeping him in after fumbling his first carry: Said Napier and his teammates lifted him up and put their trust in him.
Said he’s probably going to remember that fumble for a long time and that he and Trevor Etienne will pay their dues for their fumbles.
