Napier said that they have ironed out the wrinkles and they practiced at the pace they want to practice at yesterday.
On Chris Thomas returning to the team. Napier said that things were cleared up that allowed him to return. It honestly sounds like it was academically related.

Napier said Thomas being back is big for the depth of the defensive line group.
He said that they feel like along the two lines that they have 1 1/2 (or starters and half the backups) who are ready.

He said the defensive line has a lot of work to do to get game ready (he was speaking about the younger players).

Napier is talking about things to do with weight lifting and conditioning that I have never heard of in 20 years of doing this.
He said that there are 10-15 players who stand out as making big improvements in his mind.

Jaydon Hill is still rehabbing but they anticipate getting him back.

Dakota Mitchell and Richard Gouriage should be returning.
He then added that Nay’Quan Wright is on schedule after his injury in the bowl game last year.

Napier said that Wright is a player on the team who has a voice that does have an impact.

You can almost smell and feel football games in the air.I’m like every Gator fan, hoping our coach can lead us to an 8 or 9 win season. Billy has a pretty tough row to hoe but I for one feel pretty good.
