Friday Night Lights & Grill in the Ville Updates

[Mark Wheeler]

I'm out at the Heavener Complex as Friday Night Lights participants are arriving.

Most kids are arriving between 4-5 p.m or so, but some are already here, such as 2028 Top 50 prospect, offensive lineman Samuel Bailey and four-star receiver John Matthews (at the hotel).

Saturday morning at around 9 a.m the Grill in the Ville begins.

I'll be providing updates this evening and tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Four-star safety Cyion Smith is about 20 minutes away.

Quarterback coach Joe Craddock just walked four-star quarterback Kingston Preyear out as the family is going to go get something to eat before the camp.

Linebacker coach Greg Gasparato was out front speaking to some arrivals while waiting on 2027 commit Ja'Bois Smith to arrive.

It looks like rain is on the way. It got darker all of a sudden. I looked up the forecast and it looks like it is going to get a little wet.

It might impact guys as they're arriving, but the first half of FNL will be held in the IPF .

Because of the weather is limiting the camp to inside, they are going to Plan B.

The offense will go to the team meeting room upstairs and the defense will take the field.
