Napier opening statement: "We were physical tough we were aggressive, our kicking plan worked." "Not enough points and penalties were a factor." "We are really really close and we need to play with more consistently with offense." said Napier
Napier on team roster, "A lot of our team is excelling at a high level. If we were able to get back in our rhythm offensively, we could do better and be tough to go against."
Napier on DJ, "In general conceptually, I think a week of prep and continuing to coach in the practice environment. I know where is with missing some of spring and fall camp."
Napier on DJ at LSU, "You're going to make some plays and struggle, it's important to evaluate the offseason he has had."
Napier on DJ's footwork, "All these things, he is playing the hardest position on any group. The mental contributes to the physical. He played against a heck of a defense."
Napier on Caleb Banks, "He reinjured his foot, and in general it was great for him to back out there. We will report on injuries Wednesday."
Gumbs on mood in football facility," All of our guys are still motivated, and we have a game to play Saturday."
Gumbs on Caleb Banks, "It hurts me, because personally that's my brother. We have younger guys and depth that can help us."
Barber on DJ, "I feel that as the OL we have to play better around him, and we all need to help DJ get more comfortable."
Barber on Billy statement we are close: "I trust Coach Napier, I agree with him if you can watch film it shows."
