Callaway on a holistic approach, "We look back at each season and see who are the guys that are the best with he ball and how we can we get it into their hands as many times as possible."
Callaway on the offseason and OTA's, "We come up here during our official visits in June and we expect no one to be here, but then we see both our fields filled with our team practicing on offense and defense. They have proven to be consistent on a daily basis."
Callaway on the Gator mentality: "If we wanna go above and beyond, we have to do something extra. We have to get uncomfortable."
Callaway on the football culture this year, "Last year we were very young, at the end of the season we decided that we are going to have to give more and be uncomfortable this year if we want more."
Roberts on changes in NIL and transfer portal," I believe the core is still in the kids we recruit that make the football team."
Roberts on the players' mindsets: "They're hungry to learn" They want to be good. I like the way our guys have approached it on a day-to-day basis."
Houston on Special Teams: "We're gonna build on a lot of things we did last year and implement new things as well."
Houston on having a home base on the field, "You know how it is in the swamp on a third down, it can be hard to communicate with how loud the crowd is. That's why it's important to have a place where they can find me and know where I am."
Houston on return kickers, "We have a lot of depth on this roster and it's going to get completive. We are excited to have so many names that can fulfill that position."
Houston on field goal blocks, "We are going to put our best players in that position. We are going to try and get creative to create a play to change the game."
Houston on punter Jeremy Crawshaw: "He's hardworking, he's very competitive, and he's a weapon."
Houston on Jermey Crawshaw, "He is hard working and competitive. Very few players on our team have the ability to flip the game, and he is that guy."
Napier: "This camp will be the most competitive camp that we've had since I've been at the University of Florida."
Napier on training camp, "We want every single person on this team to feel that their position can make a difference when they come to work. We have a challenge in front of us and are excited to have the opportunity."
Napier on Mertz: "Graham Mertz has had a phenomenal off-season. There's a different level of confidence. It's his team."
