There has been a huge debate on another site about who is to blame defensively. Coaching/scheme or players? Our defense has been bad all year but we have almost all blue chip recruits starting. So the question. Was every recruiting site wrong about these players or is there a scheme issue?

I was more concerned with our defense than philo. His arm is a concern but being on time for throws can mitigate some of that. Our defense is not devoid of talent. So it concerns me that the coaches aren’t putting the players in the best system to succeed.

Sumrall has never been a solo DC. Without that being a defense coach comes with some level of risk. It clearly can’t be all on the players. Coaches failing as well. Obviously just one loss, but the defense has looked shaky the entire season.

This is the best part of the site. Hopefully next year. Keon zipperer posted some angry stuff on twitter recently. Maybe do not do anonymous interview to get the Napier final year info.

Makes sense. At the end of the day, utilizing the courts is legal in this country and they didn’t play any pro players. What infraction did that actually commit? I understand the words spoken by some hurt the sec folks feelings, but that’s not criminal.
