I just read something on Twitter from a PSU player who was approached about unionizing but turned down the overture.
This will not happen overnight, but the process has started.
It’s interesting to read that medical benefits is something being mentioned, since this will resonate with every player, whether or not they are currently in favor of unionizing or not.
Maybe it also leads to some sort of salary cap system like the nfl has and it eliminates super teams?
With the NFL, the incentive is with the teams to provide some sort of competitive balance for their product.
It’s curious that the same sort of incentive is not there with the schools.
