One thing I notice in reading interviews with visiting recruits is the consistent under-ranking of the ranking services compared the quality of many of the recruit's offer lists. It underlines the importance of evaluations by experienced position coaches based on complete data and film study. In too many cases, particularly 3* athletes have offer sheets from premier coaching staffs and move on to the pro's. The ranking systems are flawed. The elite coaching staffs seem to never miss.
