I think we are improved everywhere on offense but TE. I think we are better everywhere on defense but DE and CB.

I keep getting the feeling that we're going to be better this year, but the schedule is so tough it's not going to show up with the record and that's going to kill us in recruiting. Out of this list if we don't win seven games or eight games who can we really still get? Probably none of them.

The first thing that happens is we lost a player who hurts our depth. He did a good job in the spring game. We could use him back.

Is he visiting anywhere or does he have any teams interested in him? Maybe he comes back again if he doesn't have any better offers. He was the best linebacker in the spring game.

He said that the perception is our ST aren't that good but the reality is that they were. The clock is ticking on his time left in Gainesville.

There's not one player on there who is going to make a difference between winning and losing in 2024. Let them all go so we can bring in a bigger class of better players.

Have you been to one of the fan days? There's lines to get autographs from players who never play. Even our players who play don't have collector value. Who is selling Caleb Banks autograph? How about Montrell Johnson's? There's no market out there for any of these players. It is young fans who...

You had to pay to get players autograph something for you?

I'm seeing all over that DJ Lagway is the only quarterback to throw an interception in every practice and he has had 2 or 3 in most practices. Is it some kind of jitters or is the game too fast for him compared to high school?

It feels like we are better than we were last spring. We'll see.

Thank you for the practice updates on Saturday. They've got me feeling like we're going to be better than people think we are. It sounds like the offensive line and the defensive backs are better. If that's true we'll have a winning record.
