Is Alabama taken claim of this or did the news organization just rank them #1 even though they lost and Alabama isnt doing anything?
I think you can only say Alabama is taking a page out of UCF's playbook when they start claiming it and holding a parade....until then, UCF will always be in a "class" of their own.

Alabama was claiming dubious National Championships before UCF took up football.
