Shemar James just came through the airport to leave. He talked about the hightlight of the weekend being hosted by Chief Borders and eating at Spurriers Friday night.

He got to meet with new linebacker coach Jay Bateman, and said Florida will play him inside and out, move him around.

Honestly, he didn't say a whole lot.

Defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins said that he had a chance to get to know the staff better this weekend.

He talked about his player-host Antwaun Powell talking up hiw so much has changed in the last two months with the new staff taking better care of the players.

He really like the vibe of the new staff, especially coach Spence.

Hasn't been offered yet, and has a Tennessee visit for next weekend.

Listening to a parent of one visitor talk to an out of state visitor here at the airport, while we'll let him make the announcement himself, it sounds like Florida will be getting a commitment shortly.

Another visitor came thru and said that he is going to announce either later this evening or tomorrow, but he wants to contact the other schools that have recruited him out of respect before he goes public.

More coming on the front page, but Jacoby Mathews sounded about as positive as someone could sound coming off a visit. Up next is a trip to LSU with a too three of UF, LSU and Texas A&M.
