They have 4 players in the top 40 committed. We don't have anyone in the top 100.

If I remember correctly from the last time he was asked about losing out on highly ranked prospects, Mullen's reply to that would be who's rankings? They didn't ask him for his ranking. Implying that the prospects aren't that good.

Clearly the man is a visionary with his rankings system having us unranked while Georgia seems to be doing ok this year.

Mullen is eating a lot of his words now. Gator Standard....open up. Pack the swamp...open up. We are evaluating...open up. Im super competitive...open up. Is that even legal...open up. They didn't ask me how I ranked them...open up.

It is depressing. But we still have commits in the top 100. Bond is the #1 ranked ATH now and #86 in the composite, and Humphrey is #94, though he probably won't stick. Same old same old.

And he was straight up lying. He offers elite prospects ever year in large quantity.

Is there anyone who legitimately believes Mullen will win championships at UF? If not, then there really is no reason to keep him as coach. He never won anything at Miss State, and has won nothing at UF.

I think he can if AR is the next Cam Newton. But not because of his process and they won't be sustainable.

Since the only path to a championship with Mullen's mediocre recruiting is to hit on a transcendent quarterback, then why is AR-15 our backup. We all know why, and it's the same reason Bowman and Black rarely play despite having the highest talent profile on the roster. Sign Fenley Graham as a return specialist then keep him on the bench despite our terrible return game. Seniority rules with this coaching staff, and talent remains on the bench or transfers out (see Chester Kimbrough). To think we could have had Seider recruiting for us but instead Mullen went with Knox makes me sick.

Meh...I dont even think that is remotely possible. UGA is stockpiling so much talent its getting disgusting. Especially when you consider that Mullen isn't even trying to work hard enough at recruiting. All playing AR is going to do is get us to 10-2 or 9-3 and entry to some opt out ny6 bowl. The Mullen apologists think its all just Granthams fault. We would still have English if Mullen wasn't forced to get rid of him.

So who do you suggest we hire? We are one more 3-4 year coach away from becoming Tennessee. I'm not at all confident in Mullen but I don't see anyone available that I WOULD be confident in. Fickell MIGHT be an elite coach but winning against Cincy's schedule does not prove that. It is likely that Mullen would have a similar record at Cincy. The Oregon coach is as close as I see to a good bet out there but I doubt would take the job.

Anything is possible. I'm the leader of the band as it comes to the importance of recruiting at historic championship level, but you have to be careful with absolutes. Anything can happen and there is precedent for one-man-gang QBs winning SEC championships with limited supporting casts. The only thing is, they've always been 5-stars in the past.
