Florida initially offered Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Santana Alo-Tupuola just over a month ago in early December. On Saturday he had a chance to see what the Gators have to offer up close when he visited UF for their Jr. Day.

QUICK Q&A

Who did you visit with?
“I visited with Jerrick Gibson, Dylon Worthen, Donovan Olugbode, Jonathan Echols, and Cash Cleveland.”

What is the Florida staff’s message to you at this point?
“To keep working and that we will build a better bond over the spring and summer.”

Florida is in the unique position of having two offensive line coaches. What do you think of Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton?
“I love their coaching styles. It’s definitely unique, but I could see the benefits of having two great offensive line coaches working as one. They have a similar coaching scheme to IMG.”

What was the highlight of the day?
“The highlight of the day was seeing the field.”

Did you get a chance to interact with any of the current players?
“I met up with my boy Knijeah Harris and he answered questions I had and stayed with me throughout the visit.”

He has only been on campus for about a month, but what does Harris tell you about Florida so far?
“Knijeah loves it. He never fails to try and get me over there and is one of the reasons I love it there.”

What are your thoughts on the new football facilities? What stood out about it to you?
“The new facilities are nice. The weight room stood out to me a lot.”

What are your thoughts about Florida after taking this visit?
“I like it here, but I definitely need to visit a couple more times.”

Do you have any early leaders? Where does Florida stand right now?
“I have no leaders and no No. 1 spot right now for any school.”
