QUICK Q&A
Who visited with you?
“I was with my mom and little brother for the visit.”
How did the visit go as far as what did you do?
“The visit was good! We took a tour of the football facility and the academic building [Hawkins Center] for the football players.”
What was the Florida coaches’ message to you?
“The coaches’ message was that I’m a priority and that they want me to pick UF not because it’s in my backyard but because I’ll be comfortable there.”
Speaking specifically of defensive line coach Sean Spencer, what is your relationship like with him?
“Me and Coach Spencer’s relationship is good. We talk frequently and I can talk to him more than about football.”
What do you think of the new football facility?
“The new facility is great! Love the new changes they’ve made.”
What was the highlight of the day?
“The best part of the day was when we did our position meetings to learn to understand how to truly break down film and learn your opponents’ tendencies and weaknesses.”
What are your thoughts about Florida after taking this visit?
“Florida is still currently one of my top schools and as far as leaders go, I won’t be sharing that information.”
Jackson, who also holds offers from Louisville, Maryland, Miami and Nebraska, is the No. 486 ranked prospect in the nation according to the On3 Consensus.
