Inside the Gators asked Florida commitments and targets for their thoughts on the Gators’ 24-13 win over Central Florida. Find out what eight targets, including four-star commit Jalen Wiggins, and targets Anthony Jones and Somourian Wingo Jr. as well as others, thought of the game.
- 2026 five-star defensive end Anthony Jones
I thought it was great, especially being my first game in the Swamp. The atmosphere was crazy and also different. It is definitely a stadium I want to come back to. The coaches talked about my film and said it was good and they also want me to come back down to build the relationships. The defense played well everyone had a high motor and it showed on the scoreboard.

I didn’t get to make it. I’ll talk to Devin [Jackson] now and I’ll let you know when we get everything settled [to visit for a game]. I watched. It was a great team win. It’s a very aggressive/physical, great place to be.
- 2025 four-star defensive end commit Jalen Wiggins
I think it was a great win for the team. They performed very well on both sides of the ball. The crowd was amazing as always, supporting the team throughout the game.
- 2026 four-star wide receiver Somourian Wingo Jr.
Very proud of them boys man. Not surprised at all. I knew they had it in them. Coach told me they worked their butts off all week and it showed last night. So proud of them boys man! The atmosphere was legit. It always is. 90,000 people came to watch Florida put on a show and left happy and proud. All the fans stick around and support no matter what. If it’s a win or loss, the fans are going to be there. Florida showed out last night and it was loud and bumpy. I love it there.
- 2027 unranked tight end Grant Haviland (offered on Saturday)
The win last night over UCF was awesome. The tight ends made a big impact in the game, which was good to see. The Swamp’s atmosphere was amazing and extremely impressive. This offer means a lot to me. I have a lot of family that have a relationship with the University of Florida. When tight end Coach Russ Callaway offered me he told me that my film was very impressive and he wants to keep building a relationship with me.
- 2026 four-star linebacker Rodney Colton Jr.
The win was good, I expected them to win. They’re in the SEC, they play harder teams I feel like. The atmosphere was great, the stadium was rocking and loud.
- 2027 unranked running back Camden Morton
The atmosphere in The Swamp is everything you’d expect from a college game day – electric and unforgettable. The coaches and staff always treat you well, and the facilities are top-notch. I’m happy they came through with the W last night.
- 2027 unranked offensive lineman Bryce Daniels
I thought that was a big win for the Gators, and I thought the atmosphere was awesome.
