Florida head coach Billy Napier along with linebacker Grayson Howard and safety Jordan Castell met with the media on Wednesday to discuss the loss to No. 19 Miami and the upcoming game against Samford.

• The biggest news is DJ Lagway listed as the starter at quarterback. Graham Mertz isn’t listed at all and didn’t practice on Wednesday
• Also, as the backup, transfer Clay Millen is listed as OR with walk-on Aidan Warner, who ITG has been told has performed well throughout camp
• Opening day starters Kahleil Jackson, Asa Turner, Devin Moore, Sharif Denson, and Joey Slackman aren’t listed at all on this week’s depth chart
