Thoughts on the Gators:
— Frank Frangie (@Frank_Frangie) September 27, 2026
* Wow. No words. Ok, that’s a lie. I’ve got plenty of words. But, wow.
* To be clear, this wasn’t about Ole Miss having an emotional letdown. Ole Miss is good. And was ready. They were hyped. Chambliss is very good and played well.
This was simply one…
The Florida Gators are a top 10 team in college football.
— John Fanta (@John_Fanta) September 26, 2026
Jadan Baugh's 11 TDs are the most by an SEC player through four games since conference expansion in 1992.
— Edgar Thompson (@osgators) September 27, 2026
Go Gators!!! 🐊
— Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) September 26, 2026
Florida looks, feels and sounds different.
— John Fanta (@John_Fanta) September 26, 2026
Jon Sumrall. Cash money hire by the Gators.
Florida’s 52 points today is tied for the most pts scored by a Gator team vs a top 5 opponent. The only other time – 1997 Sugar Bowl (National championship) win over Florida State.
— Kevin Negandhi (@KevinNegandhi) September 26, 2026
Look at the rest of Florida's schedule:
— Aaron Torres (@Aaron_Torres) September 26, 2026
* At Mizzou
* South Carolina
* At Texas
* Georgia
* Oklahoma
* At Kentucky
* Vanderbilt
* At Florida State
10-2 and a College Football Playoff appearance is absolutely in play
Jon Sumrall is THAT dude 😤🐊 pic.twitter.com/AlSf4wJ3h9
Florida State’s future search to replace Mike Norvell should start with Buster Faulkner.
— Connor O'Gara (@cjogara) September 26, 2026
This is the first time since 2001 first time that the Gators have opened the season with 4 straight 40-point games. You may remember the HBC of that team.

Football is in the right place when the University of Florida is good. I hated playing in the swamp as a player and that damn Tom Petty but I will admit the world is a better place when they are good.
— Breiden Fehoko (@BreidenFehoko) September 26, 2026
I picked the Gators to win bc I thought they could run on em & play keep away. I knew Jaden Baugh would do his thing but hello Duke Clark! Both over 100. 4 possessions in the 2nd half for Gators. 4 tuddies. I'm guessing that @GatorsFB band wagon gonna grow a little this week!
