Florida head coach Billy Napier met with the media on Wednesday for a look ahead to this week’s matchup against No. 4 Miami.

• Billy Napier‘s opening statement: “I like what I saw out there today, and this team is learning how to fight adversity.”
• “Amazing practice.”
• Napier: “Lately, we have been getting DJ’s (DJ Lagway) opinion on what he likes and doesn’t like with offensive plays.”
• “I know what contributed to our offensive penalties, and it’s the offensive line as a whole, and we have addressed it for this upcoming game.”
• Napier said that receiver Dallas Wilson is anticipated to start practicing next week.
• When asked about not having defensive lineman Caleb Banks going forward, Napier said that UF has a really good group and he is excited about what he’s seen from the young players along the line. He mentioned Tarvorise Brown, Brendan Bett, and Joseph Mbatchou.
