As Inside the Gators does each year, here are Florida’s Great Eight Signees from the No. 11 ranked class in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
In the past, the ranking was based on how the signees were projected to perform over a three-to-four-year career. Now, with the Transfer Portal, the chance of a player sticking around that long is probably 50-50 at best. So, from this point forward, the chances of the player making an immediate impact will also have to be factored in along with talent level.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't live up to his billing. I firmly believe, and history has proven, that how you handle your recruiting process says a lot about the type of player/person you will be down the road.
Wilson isn't a bad young man at all. Don't take what I'm saying in that vein. He did however have a hard time doing things he said he would do. When you have so many instances of that, it has a carry-over effect that would make you think that he is a bit flakey.
