To preface this, in any other recruiting cycle, Florida moving inside the Top 20 in Team Recruiting Rankings a week before National Signing Day isn’t something to celebrate, but as we’ve been preaching since the start of the 2025 cycle, this isn’t a normal recruiting year.

Florida barely being in the Top 20 isn’t particularly noteworthy. However, compared to where they stood just two and a half weeks ago, the rise – anywhere from 16 to 41 spots – has been meteoric.

  1. Man you're better than that.

You and Blake are the only 2 recruiting writers that keep it real and now you are acting like getting all these 3 stars is a good thing.
If we are being honest, of the last seven commits, only about three of them committing would be reason to celebrate if UF was recruiting at the very top like they used to. But they aren't and moving up 40 spots in a couple of weeks is an impressive feat (and yes, I know that they dug that hole themselves).

Good article. I have been almost from the middle of Napier's 1st year a huge critic of his. The main reason is the team from almost the beginning played soft and he seemed to have leaned on many of his UL buddies. I know we have paid him a lot to go through his extended learning curve, but I too believe these last few games with the exception of Texas shows this team and Napier have turned the corner. Many people have complained that we should have hired Brian Kelley, or should fire Napier and hire either Stoops, Kelley or Kiffin. Well guess what, he has beat all of them this year and if we win our next 2 games, we will be 8-5 (which is not good, but better than what we were early in the season), and begin next year in the Top 25, with a Heisman candidate for our QB. Next year will be his prove it "I was right" year and I for one now believe that we will be a playoff contender.
