FLORIDA 2026 PROSPECT’S DREAM SCHOOL

Leesburg (Fla.) Tavares 2026 prospect Izayia Williams already holds offers from P5 programs such as Iowa State, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Syracuse.

Though he is listed as a safety, on Saturday the 6-foot, 200-pounder was eyeing the linebacker position group while attending a Florida practice.

“I liked the energy,” Williams said of the practice. “I talked to Coach [Cannon] Gibbs and Coach [Austin] Armstrong.”

It’s still early but Williams knows that if he receives one offer in particular, it could be a game-changer.

“It feels great,” said Williams of his time at Florida. “That has always been my dream school since I was younger. Florida hasn’t offered me yet, but if they were to, they would be my No. 1. But right now it’s USF.”

Williams said that he has upcoming visits this spring to Ole Miss and Syracuse.

LEGACY QUARTERBACK VISITS, OFFERED

Despite not yet holding an offer at the time, last week Inside the Gators included Cocoa (Fla.) quarterback Brady Hart on our 20 Class of 2026 Names to Know in the Updated On3 Industry Consensus Ranking.

However, after visiting Florida on Friday, the 6-foot-5, 185-pounder received an offer from the Gators.

Hart spoke about the highlight of his visit.

“Being with all the coaches and seeing the facility,” said Hart. “Coach [Ryan] O’Hara, Coach [Rob] Sale, and Coach [Billy] Napier. I had great conversations with all of them.”

It’s early, and Hart hasn’t yet formulated a leaderboard, but Florida (where his parents attended) definitely has his attention.

“It’s the #1 public university in the country,” said Hart. “They have great facilities and the hospitality from the coaches and staff. They’ve got a great atmosphere and something I want to be a part of.”

BACK PLANS ON RETURNING TO FLORIDA

Though he is still two full cycles out from having to make a decision, Williston (Fla.) Class of 2027 running back Tranard Roberts already has offers from the likes of Arkansas, Florida, and Florida State.

On Saturday the 6-foot, 180-pounder visited Florida for the Gators’ fifth practice of the spring.

“My highlight was how they get after it in practice and are always on the run,” said Roberts.

Roberts spent the day watching the backs and speaking with their position coach.

“I spoke with Coach [Jabbar] Juluke the most and he was just telling me about their school, academic-wise.”

While Roberts, understandably, said that he doesn’t have any leaders this early on, Florida does have his attention.

“I feel like I could see myself in that Orange and Blue,” said Roberts, who plans on being a frequent practice visitor. “I actually plan on showing up to it [UF practice] once a week.”
