Before, during, and after the 2023 football season, there has been one constant for Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star safety Hylton Stubbs, that is Florida has remained the team to beat for his services.

Coming off of Saturday’s Jr. Day visit to Gainesville, the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder reaffirmed the Gators was still at the top of his leaderboard.

QUICK Q&A

What was the highlight of your visit today?
“I had a great visit. I got to link up with Coach [Billy] Napier, [Austin] Armstrong, [Will] Harris, CJ [Wofford], and [Mike] Peterson.”

What is your impression of Coach Harris?
“Coach Harris is pretty cool. He has a lot of knowledge and has coached a lot of NFL talent.”

How do you feel about Florida after visiting today?
“Florida is leading the race right now, but it’s not 100%. I have to see some more schools and a lot of coaches are coming to see me.”

Are there any other visits coming up?
“Probably to Penn State, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, and USC. Some other schools have reached out so I will see how it goes.”

Stubbs is the No. 48 ranked prospect in the nation according to the On3 Consensus.
