Cedartown (Ga.) four-star cornerback Tae Harris may be from the Peach State and committed to Georgia, but that didn’t keep him from traveling to the Sunshine State to visit Florida on Saturday.

The 6-foot, 180-pounder said that he ‘loved it’ a couple of times during the recap of his trip.

What was the highlight of your visit today?
“Viewing the campus. I liked hearing about the academics.”

You are committed to Georgia but visited Florida. What was it like to be in ‘enemy’ territory? What did Florida have to say about Georgia? And how did the UGA coaches feel about you being at UF?
“It was nothing too serious. I was just there to see everything, to see what they had to offer. I loved it, no doubt about that. They didn’t bring up Georgia, Georgia didn’t say anything to me [about visiting UF].”

How do you feel about Florida after visiting today?
“I loved it. Like I said, Coach [Chad] Lucas, Coach [Billy] Napier, and Will Harris all want me and couldn’t express it more to me. I appreciate that.”

Let’s be honest, Florida is coming off back-to-back losing seasons. What do you want to see from them this year to make you feel better about them? Or does that matter?
“I want to see them win, of course, but if they don’t, it doesn’t matter to me. It’s all about where I fit best personally for me and my family.”

It’s still early for you, but do you have any leaders or a leaderboard, or 100% locked in with the Dawgs?
“No leaderboard at this time, I’m 100% committed to Georgia.”

Do you have any other visits planned?
“Georgia Tech the 20th and I don’t know when yet, but I’ll be back down [to Florida] for my official visit.”
