1) Guys who have consistently seemed impactful from a positive point, for an extended period of time are Graham Mertz, Ricky Pearsall, and Trevor Etienne on offense. Shemar James & maybe Princely Umanmielen on defense. They haven’t played Tre Wilson or Arlis Boardingham enough to be added to that group while Tyreak Sapp will make…

  1. That was brutal but also shows potential. What worries me about Napier before and after that is he has hired bad coaches. What makes us think he won’t do it again? Napier seems in over his head and nothing he has shown indicates he can dig himself out. Hope he has learned something as our team regressed last season around this time and we seem to be doing so again this year.
  2. I would feel better about his ability to adapt if he would recognize that calling for a running back option pass against the #1 team in the nation's defense on your own 34-yd line in the 2nd quarter while only down 3 points was a dumbass decision. Just admit it was stupid, learn from it and move on!
  3. As this former player said last October, and Thompson reported today, while past coaches such as Muschamp, McElwain, and Mullen may have been able to make a good case, the one thing Napier can't do is blame his lack of success on a lack of support.

  4. Last year is over. Move on to this season with some hope and positivity. Don't pick out players who have something bad to say about coach so you can bring him down because you want someone else in here.

You are 100% correct Mark, Billy has got everything he’s asked for and has said himself that everything is in place. He needs to win 8 minimum games this year or he needs to go.

That was done last October. I just brought it back to the top because the player made a point of saying that Napier has been given everything he's asked for.

As for interviewing former players, we don't ask them to say something positive or negative.

We just ask that they share their true thoughts. Sometimes it is positive, sometimes it's negative.

Last year is over. It doesn’t matter. What matters is Napier has corrected (hopefully) his flawed S&C program, coaches that weren’t getting the job done and his poor game day performance. Otherwise, this will be his last year.
