On Tuesday Florida became the latest offer for Greensboro (Ga.) Greene County 2025 defensive tackle Kevin Wynn. After speaking with Gators defensive line coach Sean Spencer, the 6-foot-3, 320-pounder told Inside the Gators that he would try to make it to a UF game this season.

QUICK Q&A

Did you have a favorite college team (or player) growing up?
“When I was little, it was Alabama.”

Out of your early offers is there one or two that really caught your attention? A ‘wow’ moment?
“Yes, all of them. It is so shocking every time [I get one].”

How did the Florida offer come about? Who did you communicate with and what did they have to say to you?
“The Florida offer was out of nowhere. Coach [Sean] Spencer text me and was like, ‘Can we get on the phone tonight.’ He said that he loves my get-off, my hands, my power, and my speed when I get off the ball. Then boom, there it [offer] was.”

What are your early impressions of Florida?
“I really don’t know too much about them yet.”

What were a couple of your favorite campus visits so far? Do any stand out above the crowd?
“Florida State and Alabama, just because of the coaches’ interactions with me and the atmosphere was crazy!”

Do you have any plans to see any schools for a game this fall? Any unofficial visits set?
“I’m not too sure where I’m going for the next month, but I know I’m going to come to one of Florida’s games.”

It’s still early, but do you have any leaders or are there a couple of programs that you know will be there until the very end for whatever reason?
“Probably Florida State, because I talk to them the most.”

What’s going to be important to you when you make your final choice?
“They have what I want to major in and the relationship with the coaches, and playing time.”

Wynn is the No. 289 rated prospect in the nation according to the On3 Consensus.

He has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and others.

This season he has visited Alabama, Auburn, and Florida State so far.
