JUCO defensive end set for Florida official visit

Just when it looked like Florida’s roster was set for the 2023 season, the Gators started to pursue another prospect who could be on campus by fall training camp.

Los Angeles (Calif.) East LA College defensive end Quincy Ivory set an official visit to UF.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder said that the Gators had just recently started recruiting him.

  1. We haven't offered him and classes have started.

    What am I missing?

    Why is he visiting?
    All he says is that he has the option to sign and play this fall, and he's spoken to the staff at UF, who apparently think he can do just that. I don't understand it either.
