How did the Florida offer come about? “They followed me a while back. After I got my Texas offer they finally hit me up and let me know that they wanted to offer me.”
Corey Raymond is thought of as one of the top defensive back coaches in the nation. What are your thoughts about him? “I actually don’t know him, so I’m interested in building a relationship and doing my research.”
What did the Florida offer mean to you? “Man, this is huge. They can definitely stir up my recruitment and make it hard for other schools, but that can be said for all schools. I’m just going to see how they recruit me.”
You have some impressive early offers, but is there one or two that really caught your attention? A ‘wow’ moment? “Florida, TCU, Texas, and [Texas] A&M. They are just some of my offers where I can really see myself thriving and feeling good at and playing at.”
What are some of the college campus visits that were your favorites? “I’ve only really been in-state visits, but this past ATM visit really did it for me.”
What are some late spring and summer visits you have coming up? “Both Oklahoma’s (Oklahoma and Oklahoma State), Baylor and Texas again.”
Do you have any plans to make it to Florida? “If we can make it happen, definitely.”
